All applicants are eligible for the NEXUS card in case there are conditionally approved by both Canada and United States of American authorities. If one of the countries denies the applicant, he/she will not become part of the program.
The applicant is qualified IF:
1. He/she is a citizen or permanent resident of either United States or Canada.
2. He/she is a citizen who lives outside of United States of Canada
3. He/she passed the criminal check. (Some criminals may become part of the program in certain circumstances).
The applicant is not qualified IF:
1. He/she provided wrong / false information in the application.
2. He/she violated any customs or immigration law
3. He/ she has a serious criminal record
4. He/she is not a citizen or permanent resident of either United States of America or Canada.
5. He/she did not meet any additional requirements.
